Spinnova appoints Lasse Holopainen as General Counsel and Secretary to the Board of Directors
Sustainable textile material company Spinnova has appointed Lasse Holopainen as General Counsel and Board Secretary, to support the next phase of the company's expansion.
Spinnova has appointed Master of Laws Mr Lasse Holopainen, 40, as its General Counsel and Board Secretary as of 19 November 2021.
As General Counsel, Lasse will be responsible for all legal matters of the company and advise senior management on legal and compliance related topics. As Board Secretary, he will also support and advise Spinnova’s Board of Directors and its committees in their work.
Lasse joins Spinnova from Nokia Corporation, where he has held roles monetizing Nokia’s intellectual property assets as well as in the legal department supporting Nokia’s global operations. Lasse Holopainen has also previously headed the legal function of Tuxera Inc, prior to which he advised clients in M&A and corporate law at Roschier Attorneys Ltd.
