Calculation of key figures
Key figure | Definition | Reason for the use |
Earnings per share, undiluted | Profit (loss) for the period / weighted average number of shares outstanding during the period | The indicator shows the allocation of the result to individual shares |
Earnings per share, diluted | Profit (loss) for the period / weighted average number of shares outstanding during the period + potential dilutive shares | The indicator shows the distribution of earnings to individual shares on a diluted basis |
Equity ratio (per cent) | Total equity / (Balance sheet total – advances received) | Measure for management to monitor the level of the company’s capital and compliance with the company’s loan covenants |
Net cash | Cash and cash equivalents – Short-term interest-bearing liabilities – long-term interest-bearing liabilities | Net cash is an is an indicatorof the company’s cash position and its ability to pay off interest-bearing liabilities |
1) The company’s potential dilutive instruments consist of stock options. As the company’s business has been
unprofitable, stock options would have an anti-dilutive effect and therefore they are not taken into account in measuring the dilutive loss per share. Thus, there is no difference between the undiluted and diluted loss per share. The number of shares in the historical figures is adjusted with the two share splits that took place first in May 2020 in which the number of shares was multiplied by 10 and then in May 2021 in which the number of shares was multiplied by 30.
