NZ TEX GROUP, Spinnova’s long-term woven fabric manufacturing partner based in Bangladesh, supports the scaling of SPINNOVA® fibre by joining the Spinnova ecosystem. NZ TEX GROUP and Spinnova have jointly developed fabrics, including denim, over several years, and the partners are now formalising and strengthening their cooperation through the ecosystem model.

NZ TEX GROUP is a vertically integrated textile conglomerate established in 1982, specialising in denim and other woven fabrics. The company works closely with well-established international fashion brands, combining industrial-scale manufacturing with experience in meeting brand and market requirements.

The collaboration between the companies began with joint R&D and product development, during which SPINNOVA® fibre has been tested and applied in a range of fabric trials. NZ TEX GROUP has been responsible for weaving, dyeing, and finishing the fabrics, drawing on its expertise in denim and woven textiles. The development work has focused in particular on denim applications, where SPINNOVA® fibre has demonstrated strong suitability.

Through this collaboration, NZ TEX GROUP supports the transition from development to scalable fabric manufacturing. As part of the ecosystem, NZ TEX GROUP will utilise SPINNOVA® fibre to produce denim fabrics that will be showcased at the Kingpins New York edition in July 2026. Kingpins is a denim-focused trade show that brings together denim mills, suppliers, and brands.

“Working with NZ TEX GROUP allows us to move our denim developments closer to the market. Over the past years, we have jointly developed and refined denim fabrics using SPINNOVA® fibre, and showcasing these developments at Kingpins in New York is an important next step as we continue scaling the fibre within established textile supply chains”, says Shahriare Mahmood, Spinnova’s Chief Product and Sustainability Officer.

“This partnership perfectly aligns with our promise to deliver innovative, yet sustainable yarns and fabrics to the global clothing industry, and Spinnova’s fibre technology has strong potential for tough fabrics like denim”, comments Saleudh Zaman Khan, the Chairperson at NZ Tex Group.
